Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Toronto Pond Hockey Festival in Downtown Toronto (525 Commissioners Street (at Carlaw Ave).

Tournament fees are:

  • $600 per team ($100 per person) for any of the 1-day tournaments with a tax receipt issued for the proceeds.
  • The Womens’s tournament is $480 per team ($80 per player); and the
  • Kids and Family teams are $480 per team ($60 / player for 8 players)

Please note that all payments must be made through PayPal using a credit card or a PayPal account balance.  All payments will be considered final after December 31, 2014.

2. Corporate Challenge Pond Hockey Tournament: Feb. 11th - 13th, 2014

Description:

TPHT 7Corporate Challenge Tournament for the 2nd Annual Toronto Pond Hockey Festival:

. Each corporation will compete in the Industry Challenge against seven other industry rivals (where possible).

. Each company will enter from one (1) to four (4) teams: your choice of recreational or competitive, and men, women or co-ed. 

. All team members on your competitive team MUST
be employees... no ringers!!

. The 1-Day tournaments begin during Week 1 of the Festival and run from Tuesday, February 11th until Thursday, February 13th, OR, from Tuesday February 18th until Thursday February 20th.  You will be notified which day your teams will participate. 

. You may also choose to play on the weekend in one of the 1-Day Tournaments.  Please indicate which day in the "message" (within the registration form) which weekend tournament your company team wants to play in.

A.  Recreational (and VERY Recreational) Teams: team of six (6) players in the Industry Challenge:

  • One-day (1) tournament with each team guaranteed to play at least five (3) games with playoffs for qualifying teams.
  • Skill level of players should be "recreational" and not have any current or past "elite" level players.  Elite means members of University varsity teams, NHL, AHL, Junior A and other such leagues.
  • Six (6) players per team; players should be employees but it is not mandatory.
  • Matching uniforms are mandatory
  • Teams play in groups of eight (8). See bracket progression by clicking here -->Round Robin Progression.
  • The round robin seeds all teams into two (2) Divisions: Champions & Consolation Divisions. See playoff progression by clicking here -->Playoff Format.

B. Competitive teams: team of six (6) players in the Industry Challenge:

  • One-day (1) tournament with each team guaranteed to play at least three (3) games with playoffs for qualifying teams.
  • Open skill levels
  • Six (6) players per team; players MUST be employees... no ringers!
  • Matching uniforms are mandatory

Cost $2400 per company if four (4) teams at $100 per person.  Please indicate the number of players.  If you have more than four teams, then please leave a message below and one of our Festival volunteers will contact you.
